Congratulations To Our New Mayor J.D. Clark


J.D. Clark will be sworn in as mayor of Chico at tonight's meeting, he will possibly become the youngest current mayor in the state. The 23-year-old Clark was unopposed in the May election. A reception is at 6:30 to announce the city's lifetime achievement award winner with the meeting to follow at 7. (wc messenger)

I think he is to young for the job. Then again, what big problems does the town of Chico have? If he can get the roads fixed, he has done more than the others. We could use some type of eatery that has a drive threw window.

I think JD will do just fine. I don't know him personalty, but I have noticed that young and old like him. I think his age will be a plus. He doesn't have all that junk that weighs most middle age people down. He cares about this town. Maybe, it will help get some of the young people involved.

I'm excited to see, the changes to come.
