What, road work in Chico!
How shocked I was to see such a thing.
Where did it come from?
Does it make sense? NO
Why not the inner streets of Chico?
They needed them more, way more.
Was there a problem with the roads they paved?
Why did they re-paved part of FM1810, it has been less than a year since they re-did that road.
Which by the way, it was smooth and nice.
I know, Blah Blah Blah....

Just to clarify, the roads that are currently under construction in the Chico area are all state roadways, and the current paving project is a state project. The state does not improve City-owned streets, nor is the City involved in this current project.
The City, however, will soon begin its own major street project, one that will yield greatly improved roads.
Please don't ever hesitate to ask questions.

I love that you posted a comment about this. That does answer my question. I had noticed that some of the roads leading into the square were paved, but not others. This was confusing.
I hope you will always feel free to leave a comment. Good to hear from you. Thanks
I know it seems a little confusing that two streets on the square have been repaved. Originally, as some will remember, the state highway cut through the square diagonally. Now, the portions of Buffalo and Decatur Streets on the square are under state jurisdiction, thus making it part of the current state project.
As I always tell everyone, I welcome questions. I am excited about the future of the City, and I am looking forward to the improvements coming to our community.
I'm impressed! J.D.'s all over it...
